The Best Short Films in The World is a little show made by Bobby Miller. Mostly by himself...in his apartment. It was up against NBC's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for the 2009 Webby Awards.

Got to meet Gavin Purcell, Jimmy’s show producer. Really nice guy and was a swell sport about all of this stuff. Woulda liked to meet Fallon, but alas!

My Mom and Step Dad came to the ceremony too. In fact, my mom was going on and on about how she met Ariana Huffington and talked to her for a long time…But, then Ariana Huffington accepted her Webby and my mom whispered to us:

“Wait a second…I wasn’t talking to Ariana Huffington.”

I have no idea who my mom talked to.

Thanks again everyone who voted and let me have such a nice night. Erik, Vanessa, Tim, Rachel, and Rusty, it was a pleasure.

It’s been quite a week. The support for the show and the DontLetJimmyWin.com campaign has been overwhelming. Unfortunately, we won’t know the winner till May 5th. So, we just have to sit tight till than.

Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks everyone for an amazing week. I’m a pretty lucky guy to be surrounded by such great friends and a wonderful and passionate audience.
